From conceptual design through draughting and detailing, AutoCAD 2007 is all you need to create, visualise, document and share ideas.  It is a great starting point for any industry professional.

Computer literate.

Selection Procedure

Access to this qualification is open, assuming prior learning is in place.

• Organising your drawing setup
• Using co-ordinate system
• Creating objects with AutoCAD
• Editing methods in AutoCAD
• Using object snap in AutoCAD
• Controlling the drawing display
• Dimensioning in  AutoCAD
• Working with text in AutoCAD
• Hatching in AutoCAD
• Calculating with AutoCAD
• Blocks and X-refs in AutoCAD
• Plotting and drawing in AutoCAD

Duration (Courses run with a minimum of six people)

30 Hours for 2D

Course Fees

R 3 000.00 and R 350.00 for textbook.
All monies are payable before the course commences

Additional Costs (books, kits, etc)

All additional costs are included.  Lunches for companies arranged at additional cost.

Certification

On successful completion of the programme, the student will receive an African Academy Certificate.
