2009 NQF4 Multi-disciplinary Drawing Office Practice and 2010 NQF5 Architectural Graduation Ceremony |
Students from the NQF4 2009 Class and NQF5 Architectural class of 2010 graduated from African Academy. The graduation ceremony was hosted at the Birchwood Hotel in November 2011 and was a joyous event shared with friends and family of these aspiring draughtspersons. It was not only an occasion to celebrate their successes, but also a symbol of the 2009 class moving into a new phase of their lives. The majority of these students have been placed into industry positions and are already getting a taste of the working arena.

HATCH Event |
| Hatch, a large global engineering company, has invested R1 million in the Academy. The donation has been used to fund the building of the Academy’s new wing. Previously, Hatch provided employment to ten of the Academy’s graduates per annum. They have now pledged to increase this quota to forty per annum – an increase of 400%. This is in recognition of the excellent skills and world-class qualifications successful graduates of the Academy possess. |
